Faith Can Move Mountains
We have all been in that position where we were in dire need of a mountain-moving miracle. It might have been a sick child or relative, debt or financial difficulties, or even a looming divorce. At such a time, it would take great faith to trust and believe that God would up. Sometimes, He showed up by letting you go through those dark moments and holding your hands through them, and keeping your thoughts pure.
Faith goes way beyond trusting God to step into your situation and set them straight; it is the belief that God will align your life with His plans for you. Faith that can move mountains is then the staunch belief that God will work out everything around for your good. And even if there are high mountains and dark situations, you are fighting from a victorious side, and you will win.
“What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things? Who could bring a charge against God’s chosen ones? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Even as it is written, “For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.“
As Christians, our view of God should not be dependent only on our benefits, nor should our faith be skewed to the experience of deliverance. Our faith must have its foundation on the knowledge of our victory in Christ Jesus. This rigid and unmoving faith in itself moves every stronghold and mountain that there is.
